You could do all the push ups, burpees, squats and everything else in between. If your diet isn’t in check, you won’t see progress. One big issue people have is dialing down on their diet.
Sorry to say it but going hard at the gym for an hour a couple times a week is easy. Food is 24/7. It is a lot harder to manage what you eat.
